How do I tell whether an API request succeeded?
Check both the HTTP status and the outer JSON code. HTTP 200 alone does not establish success. A code of 0 can mean success or acceptance of an asynchronous task; for asynchronous work, inspect the documented task status before treating the output as complete. Follow the selected operation’s response schema when interpreting results or an empty response.
