What Is Amazon Haul? Everything You Need to Know
Amazon Haul is a new discount shopping experience where everything costs $20 or less. Most items are under $10, with prices as low as $1. Shipping takes 1-2 weeks—longer than Prime, but the savings are significant.
Think of it as Amazon's answer to Temu and Shein: ultra-low prices, longer delivery times, and a focus on budget-conscious shoppers who don't mind waiting.
What Is Amazon Haul?
Amazon Haul is a dedicated section within Amazon where every product is priced at $20 or less. Launched in late 2024, it's Amazon's direct response to the growing popularity of ultra-discount platforms like Temu and Shein.
Key Features at a Glance
- Price cap: Everything $20 or less (most items under $10)
- Shipping: 1-2 weeks delivery
- Free shipping: Orders $25+ ship free
- Extra discount: Spend $50+, get 5% off; spend $75+, get 10% off
- Returns: Free returns within 15 days

How Is It Different from Regular Amazon?
Amazon Haul operates as a separate shopping experience with its own cart and checkout. You won't see Haul items mixed with regular Amazon products—it's designed as a standalone discount store within the Amazon ecosystem.
The trade-off is clear: you get much lower prices, but you wait longer for delivery. There's no Prime same-day or next-day shipping here.
How Does Amazon Haul Work?
How to Access Amazon Haul
You can find Amazon Haul through:
- Amazon App: Look for the Haul icon in the bottom navigation
- Mobile Web: Visit amazon.com/haul
- Desktop: Navigate to amazon.com/haul
Once inside, you'll see a curated selection of products organized by category—all priced $20 and under.
Pricing Structure
Amazon Haul uses aggressive pricing to compete with Temu and Shein:
- Most items: $1 - $10
- Maximum price: $20
- Bulk discounts:
- Spend $50+ → 5% off entire order
- Spend $75+ → 10% off entire order
Shipping and Delivery
This is where Amazon Haul differs from the main Amazon experience:
- Standard delivery: 1-2 weeks
- No Prime benefits: Even Prime members wait 1-2 weeks
- Free shipping: Orders $25 or more
- Under $25: Flat shipping fee of $3.99
The longer shipping time allows Amazon to consolidate orders and ship directly from overseas warehouses, keeping costs low.
Payment and Checkout
Amazon Haul uses a separate cart from your regular Amazon cart. When you're ready to check out:
- Review your Haul cart (separate from main cart)
- Apply any bulk discounts automatically
- Pay with your saved Amazon payment methods
- Track your order through the Amazon app

Tips for Shopping on Amazon Haul
1. Hit the $25 Threshold
Always try to reach $25 to get free shipping. At $3.99 for shipping under $25, that fee can eat into your savings quickly.
2. Aim for $50 or $75 for Extra Discounts
- $50+ order = 5% off
- $75+ order = 10% off
If you're close to these thresholds, adding one more item often makes sense.
3. Check Reviews Carefully
Just like regular Amazon, read the reviews. Some Haul products are great deals; others are exactly what you'd expect for $3.
4. Set Realistic Expectations
Remember: 1-2 week shipping is normal. Don't order from Haul if you need something soon.
5. Compare Prices
Sometimes the same item is available on regular Amazon for a similar price with faster shipping. Quick price check before buying.
Conclusion
Amazon Haul is Amazon's play to compete with Temu and Shein—offering ultra-low prices in exchange for longer shipping times. Everything is $20 or less, shipping takes 1-2 weeks, and orders over $25 ship free.
Quick summary:
- ✅ All products $20 or less
- ✅ Free shipping on $25+ orders
- ✅ Extra 5-10% off on larger orders
- ⚠️ Delivery takes 1-2 weeks
- ⚠️ Separate cart from regular Amazon
If you're comfortable waiting and want Amazon's buyer protection at Temu-level prices, Amazon Haul is worth checking out. Just don't expect Prime speed.
