Amazon Alexa Search

Initiate natural language Q&A through Amazon's storefront Alexa shopping assistant to get shopping guidance answers, recommended product groups, ASIN lists, and follow-up questions. Each call supports only 1 prompt; for follow-ups, the agent must summarize context and concatenate a new question for a new request. A url can be used to supplement Amazon page context.

Use OAuth 2.1 Authorization Code with PKCE and the mcp:tools scope for standard remote clients. API keys remain supported as a compatibility option while v1 integrations migrate.

Progress is delivered on the original POST SSE response when the client supplies a progress token and the tool has real execution stages. GET SSE carries server notifications such as tool-list changes. Creating an asynchronous task or calling an external provider may consume credits; reconnecting must query the existing task instead of submitting it again.
