What does this SEO keyword planner do?
It expands an English seed keyword into up to 10 keyword candidates and retrieves available Google search-volume estimates and keyword difficulty for the US market. You can filter and sort the results to compare relevant ideas.
Can I use this keyword research tool for free?
Yes. You get one free keyword search per UTC day, with no credit card required. Each search includes up to 10 keyword ideas and available search-volume and difficulty metrics. Your daily allowance resets at 00:00 UTC. Filtering and sorting results do not use another search.
How do I use a keyword planner for SEO?
Start with the topic your page should cover. Compare related keyword suggestions by relevance, search volume, and difficulty, then select a focused group for that page. Use the terms naturally in useful page content; adding more keywords alone does not improve rankings.
What does keyword search volume tell me?
Search volume estimates how often a keyword is searched in the selected market. This tool returns US English Google search estimates. The numbers are not your site's traffic, guaranteed clicks, or sales. Close variants may overlap, so do not add their volumes together as unique demand.
How should I use the keyword difficulty checker?
Compare the available difficulty scores on a 0-100 scale: lower values suggest less ranking competition. Consider page relevance and the quality of the current search results as well. A low score does not guarantee a ranking, and difficulty is not the same as paid-ad competition.
Can I find long-tail keyword ideas?
Related suggestions can include specific product or topic phrases. Start with a focused seed and review the returned terms for more specific needs or use cases. The tool returns a limited set of suggestions, not every long-tail keyword, and lower search volume does not automatically mean lower difficulty.
Can I use this for ecommerce keyword research?
Yes. Start with what you sell and build keyword lists for product pages, collections, category descriptions, and helpful articles. Check that the selected terms match the products and information on your site. The metrics describe Google search, not marketplace sales demand.
Is this Google Keyword Planner?
No. This is Nexscope's SEO keyword planning tool, not Google's advertising product. It helps you discover keyword ideas and compare search demand and SEO difficulty. It does not create Google Ads campaigns or provide bidding recommendations.
Which countries and languages are supported?
This page currently supports US English keyword research. Enter a seed of 1-10 words and at most 80 characters. Do not use the results as country-specific evidence for another market.
Why is a metric Unavailable?
Unavailable means the provider did not return a usable value; it does not mean zero. Results are available for the current page session. For more searches and data you can use in your own workflow, sign in to get an API key. API access and credits apply.
